Staff Biography

Bruce S. Dreyfus, Managing Partner

Mr. Dreyfus spent eight years in sales talent acquisition, prior to opening DCG/Transition Compass® nearly nine years ago. Since opening DCG/Transition Compass, Bruce has added over 200 pages to the DCG website, in an attempt to be of service to both client companies & candidates. That transition methodology material became the basis of our book, the PMSP©: "get THAT NEXT job!"© published by THE TRANSITION COMPASS, now in its 6th printing. The book was originally published at the urging of our candidates and clients. The 350 page, 6th edition of the PMSP©, November 2006, now includes our revolutionary Tri-Fold Brochures© section. As of November, an audio CD version of the Tri-Fold Brochures became available. Our second CD, Interviewing 101, will be available in May 2008.

Mr. Dreyfus has worked as a recruiter, manager and consultant at MRI, Atlanta and Boston, RDRaab, Atlanta and CSC, Atlanta, all on a sales desk. Prior to recruiting, Bruce spent five years in outplacement at DCG, Boston and Drake Beam Morin, Boston/Atlanta. He is also the author of various articles on sales, management and dehiring. Among these is the S.A.L.E.S Approach to Selling, referred to often in his book, CD, seminars and website. His book is based upon his unique marketing methodology for candidates, using his CIP Program, 18 Day Program, and the ACP which will help to remove the Risk of Hire and increase the Reward of Hire for both the Hiring Authority and candidates. This transition system will ensure that candidates will "get Noticed," get Interviewed," and "get THAT NEXT job!" Welcome to the 21st Century Transition Search Methodology, gone are the days of the "cover letter, resume and prayer method" of looking for a new job.

Bruce came to outplacement, and recruiting naturally from a successful twenty year plus sales career as a representative, manager, National Sales Manager, and Vice President of Sales. He has been awarded the much coveted title of "Manager of the Year" with three companies in two different industries. Bruce has also had the distinction of leading a Boston based management consulting firm from $600,000 in sales per year to over $10,000,000 per year, in less than three years. Among his most cherished achievements was personally selling over a $1,000,000 of a $70 educational item. He holds a BS Ed and M Ed in Educational Administration, plus 40 credits beyond the Master's level. He had taught English and Social Sciences for several years before embarking on a successful sales career. He has also earned a certificate as a Certified Outplacement Consultant.

As a former, sales management professional, he does understand what Hiring Authority's need, why they need it, and more importantly how to get you as the candidate noticed. Mrs. Alissa Dreyfus Eaton, Senior Administrative Researcher

Mrs. Eaton is responsible for all the web advertising, editorial content of the website, and also does pre-screening, research, and identification of candidates. Prior to joining DCG/Atlanta, Mrs. Eaton had worked closely with Mr. Dreyfus at Corporate Search Consultants, Southeast Management, a small business staffing and consulting company, as the office manager, and DCG/Boston. She specializes primarily in Presales and Consulting positions and is the primary researcher for DCG. Ms. Eaton also focuses DCG's attention on training and certification.
