One of the most basic concepts that ALL candidates must remember is why would the Hiring Authority hire YOU?

It is not your titles, dates you worked, or job responsibilies, but it is the VALUE you bring to them, their boss, the company and their client base. Only your accomplishments speak to his/her risk. They demonstrate your past and portend your future.

If your candidacy does REDUCE the Hiring Authority's (HA'S) RISK, you will not get the interview and a chance to perform/audition for the offer that you want.

The hiring authority's COST is too great to gamble on a hire. His/her position, income, and or emotional/physical well being are on the line with each hire; i.e.: inertia will prompt a negative decision.

In the interview & presentation mode, (CPD) fluff will not prevail. You must know your accomplishments, skill set, professional limitations, client's goals, objectives, market position, product, and competition. Your interview must be a solution sales call.
